About RYDIN

Rydin (Andrea Rydin Berge) started her career with a boom in 2009 receiving an invitation to tour with none other than Bobby McFerrin. Subsequently, she formed her own Quintet consisting of three saxophones and one double bass. At the age of 27 she released her self-titled debut album «Andrea kvintett» that received great reviews by both Norwegian and German press. After touring with her Quintet she moved to Berlin in 2014 to work on her solo project; Rydin.

With her solo set-up; playing the piano, autoharp and singing Rydin has played multiple sold out concerts for a German audience. After spending a lot of time in different studios trying to recording her songs with large scale productions, talented musicians and different producers Rydin decided to make an acustic live in studio album in Berlin together with the cellist Mortiz Ebert.  Rydin is not only writing her own songs but is also producing her upcoming album «Who I am» that will be released December 2017.

Rydin is an innovating artist with many projects involving various flavours of her beautiful music.
In Berlin she started the pop-up concept  «Rydin and Food» combining a specially invited guest chef to present a three course meal accompanying a three course concert. Now, living in Oslo she takes this concept a step further and combines more of the things she loves; music, art, fashion and food. Say hello to Oslo POP UP festival!

Rydin has played on festivals as Øyafestivalen (NO), Kongsberg jazzfestival (NO), Elbjazz (DE) and Jazzahead (DE) and have more international dates coming up.
